using superwebsocket in a native android / ios app

Dec 1, 2012 at 6:04 AM

I am planning to develop cloud based back end using superwebsocket.  The client code will be written is native android and ios.

What are my options to send and receive data ?

Is it still possible to have subscribe / publish model ?

Will there be any hit on performance for sending real time data a message containing 300 bytes every sec to cloud?

It depends on your client implementation.

Please simulate lots of clients and requests to test performance by yourself, because the performance also depends on your business processing.

Thanks for your answer.  I truly appreciate your dedication to this and quick answers.

What are my options to send and receive data ?  Since its not a .net client how do I connect to a superwebsocket in Android / ios and send receive data ? Is there any sample on this ?

Is it still possible to have subscribe / publish model on Android / ios ? or it has to be polling ?

Please find websocket client for android and iOS, and the introduction of those clients will let you know how to use them.
